Should Be A Reader

Book reports are no fun, usually. After all, you have to read a book that’s a bazillion pages long about somebody who lived a long time ago and said things like “I wot not what wot I thought I wot.” And the whole time you’re reading, you’re saying, “Huh?”  No wonder why people resort to watching movies adapted from books, in that way they don’t have to read the long boring book, right? Wrong. That may sound like a good idea, but the problem is that if you do a book report on movie, you’re putting a lie on paper! And movies based on books always skip a lot of stuff!

I have read a couple of books and then watched movies based on them, but at the end of every kind of these movies I feel sad and cheated. Quick examples “The Fault In Our Stars” “The October Baby” and “A Walk To Remember”.  But anyway I have never directed or written a movie script what do I know about the costs they incur?

Moving on I have friend who usually says “me and books are never meant to be” whenever he finds me reading or sees books on my shell. Whenever he utters that I wail in the inside and a lot goes into my mind about him. Am sure many of you can relate to what exactly goes through my mind in such scenarios. Many times I feel zeal of unleashing the evangelical spirit to just educate this fellow but then I remember people are different and some cultures are hard to adopt, literally I keep the spirit leashed and move on

I usually post on my timelines the qualities of a lady that I desire to be my wife; besides her being a believer in Christ Jesus and natural hair being the second quality the third quality is a reader, she should be a reader. The rest I can close my eyes to them like being a good cook, yes. You heard me right! I mean it’s just a meal nothing serious, no?

I was talking to some other friend recently I told her; If happen to be married to a reader and a moment comes through where we are supposed to be intimate (Read:  bed room calls) and I find her in bed reading or finishing a chapter I would actually wait for her or forge the call, I respect reader that much. It’s more of an obsession now.

Anyway here is the bone in this article, reading is an extremely important skill, it’s by reading you learn much of what you need to know. And whenever you read good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.
