The Versatile Blogger Award

I was nominated by friend of mine, her name; Sinawo it’s in Xhosa and it’s means “we have” there is story to that name that she shared on musings recently. Turns out Amanya  and Komusana AKA Sunshine nominated me for the versatile blogger award as well, thank you all for the nominations –Much appreciated, this means a lot to me. So I was saying; I want to thank Sinawo for the nomination she is an awesome person, those who have read her pieces on The Baby Steps can bear me witness, my all-time favorite is Why She Writes because I can actually relate to it. Again, thank you Sinawo Bukani

I was planning to break all the rules of the award arrangement, but after serious threats still from her, Sunshine and Esther *sighs and shakes head* I reconsider. Alright shall we?

Versatile blog

Twenty something years back on the 24th of January I was born to parents that were civilly united (Courts of law Marriage), I grew up in a small fishing village on the shores of Lake Victoria; Gaba-Kampala, Uganda. Swimming illegally was something that was inevitable in my childhood, no matter how many times I was beaten by the parents I always found a way back to the lake to swim. Currently I can swim from Gaba landing site to the other shore at Buule. If you have been to Gaba landing site before you know the distance I’m talking about, Yes?

In the year of 2013 around June I found a special girl; her eyes, her face, her body curvature, her belief and most especially her brains, to cut the description short I found a goddess  –My gut told me “she is your better half’.  After a few meets and talks she was mine; walks, events, pillow fights, letters,  messages, phone calls, home visits and the touches. That kind of love, Well that all lasted for 11 months and it was over. So currently I’m aggressively searching, though if you are reading this blog after; a week, month, a year or years this status “might” have changed. *winks

Back in high school I was a book worm –though I used to spend more time in the night reading chemistry doing mathematics numbers, well what has change is what I read and do. I still stay up reading novels, writing, playing video games, checking my social media platforms and eating. I don’t really do movies late in the night; I prefer doing movies during day when the brain is in the passive mode.

If you meet/know my siblings and compare them to me, you are definitely going to ask why I am skinny. Well from the biology I know about genetics, I found out that I’m the offspring that carried the dominant genes of skinniness –I am genetically skinny, irrespective of the food I eat and all, I still stay slaying skinny. That explains why I am actually on #TeamAlwaysHungry though for only the foods that I’m not allergic to.

Back in the days I was in a powerful choir, I can’t remember the voice I was singing, All I know is; I was in the choir and I was really awesome at singing. When I went to a boarding school for four years, I came back to the choir and my voice was gone beyond repair. Then I restored to playing drums (The jazz drum set) I did that till 2nd year at campus and stopped. I still know how to play drums but I am not passionate about them.

In between the line of those 5 paragraphs, lies 7 facts about Me. I hope you saw them.  Meanwhile according to rules I am supposed to nominate more bloggers for the award, and the nominees are; *insert drum rolls

I can’t wait to read or watch their videos sharing the seven facts about them.

Well here are the rules of engagement:

  1. Thank the person that nominated you and include a link to their blog.
  2. Nominate at least 15 bloggers of your choice. When considering a fellow blogger for the Versatile Blogger Award, keep in mind the quality of their writing, the uniqueness of their subject matter and the level of love displayed on the virtual page.
  3. Link your nominees and let them know about their nomination.
  4. Share seven facts about yourself

  3. Hi…. I don’t know if I found all the facts because I did not count them, why did you not just list them or put lil numbered italics and the footnotes at the bottom , thats tots what I would do, ha! I feel tempted to read this again and find out if there are really seven facts or more and you just wrote :

In between the line of those 5 paragraphs, lies 7 facts about Me. I hope you saw them.

to see how many people tell the truth, I would totally do that too…
isnt the scientific explanation to the voice disappearance (too bad cant tag people in comments) more like a biological explanation?
    good to read about you
