A List Of Happiest People

If someone gave you a paper and pen and told you to list the happiest people in the history of the world, who would be on your list?

Adolph Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Germany?

Joseph Stalin, the communist dedicator of Russia in the 1940s?

Nero, the Roman emperor who supposedly fiddled while Rome burned?

Herod the great, who ordered the slaughter of all babies in his kingdom when he heard the reports that a new king had been born somewhere around Bethlehem?

How about Haman, the guy in the biblical book of Esther who tried to engineer the destruction of Persia’s Jewish population?

What about Queen Jezebel, who was married to Ahab? She had a man killed just to take his land.

You mean none of those famous people would be on your list of the happiest people in the history of the world? Why not? They had it ‘all’ –power, prestige, wealth. Why don’t you think of them as happy people? Allow me show you the other picture of their lives, allowed? Cool, thank you.

Well, for a good reason: Their lives were characterized by hate and a hateful person is never a happy person, yes?  But think about it from this channel, the happiest people you know are those who love other people, lots of people. The happiest are the loving-est (lack of a better word) people. That’s the way it works and it will always work like that.

A sixties singing group sang, “Love Can Make You Happy” let me say that again, LOVE CAN MAKE YOU HAPPY. There is a way love enriches us, love is that Powerful! I mean you have heard all these things about love since childhood I don’t need to echo them again, yes?

Just in case you have a different thinking about happiness and love, kindly share in the comment section, thank you.

  1. I agree. It’s like in us to seek love and acceptance and some how we end up happy. When love is in the picture we just look happy. We radiate happiness to everyone else in our lives. Yes love can make you happy.

  2. I can’t help but think about that stuff people say like You can buy happiness. It seemed like you just said you can buy happiness with love. In a good way though.

Not so many people are genuinely happy. I don’t even know if someone can be, because no one can be trouble free and that eats away our brain.

  3. Well written and expressed. While I understand what you’re saying, I disagree to some extent. From personal experience mostly, for I have known love and depression entangled so completely that they start to meld into one another.
Numerous times I have lost love and gained happiness tinged with relief.
My experience is likely not most people’s but I believe that love and happiness often exist individually.
